Pushkar full moon

Pushkar is a small town in Rajasthan which is a holy town for Hindus who are supposed to visit and wash in the lake at least once in their life, and the best time is full moon in November. I arrived there that day. The place was packed and cars were not allowed into town. I got a ride on a motorcycle into town and found a hotel near the sacred lake. At this time of year, about 200,000 pilgrams come into the small town. The good thing was that the cars were not allowed into the town, so the streets were full of people, and the occassional train of camels, but no cars. The week preceeding this full moon festival has become a camel trading center and about 50,000 camels and their owners come to trade and to check out the camels.
