Marijuana grows wild in many places in India, and it is used widely by holy men. There are strict anti-drug laws in India, with harsh penalties for possession or sale, but marijuana is legal if you buy it at the government Bhang shops. They sell it in juice drinks, cookies, brownies, and in various forms for smoking. It has the reputation for being pretty strong. I passed up the chance. The shop owner would not let me photograph his menu but he was fine with me photographing his shop.
