Delhi - big sprawling and dirty

After Varanasi, I took a train to Delhi, the capital of India. It is a large, sprawling and dirty city with some grand buildings, some old and some new. The smog is thick in all of the big cities of northern India that I have visited. At times, things fade into the haze within a few blocks.
